About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Eat all the great foods the world has to offer! :D

ABOUT ME

Five things that I love, in no particular order:

Food - I have travelled in the name of food. I have a food blog.
Fashion - a great expression of one's self.
Music - produce music, play an instrument or 2, in a band.
People - every person has a unique story, I find fascinating.
Green Tea - even better of combined into a green tea food product.

I'm just the friendly sociable type. Quite happy striking random conversations with strangers at times. More of an explorer, experiencing different cultures.

PHILOSOPHY

Make cake, not war.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Originally my friend recommended it to me as she said it allowed her to experience travelling in a city from a more local perspective (she went New Orleans). I don't think just checking off tourist attractions really tells me much about a city. I've used CS a few times and I've found it to be a great way to experience and learn more about the people and the place of a city, and I've had the added bonus of meeting amazing people and making some great friends :)

Interests

Apart from the above mentioned, things that interest/intrigue me is: different cultures, international cinema, ice cream and meeting new people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While in Naples for a total of 10 hours, I managed to eat 4 pizzas at 4 legendary pizzerias (followed by an uncomfortable sprint back to the train station to ensure I didn't miss my train back to Rome, ha!)
