About Me

I am a pragmatic spiritualist. I am in search of real moments with people. A real moment is impossible to describe and yet instantly recognizable.

To me the meaning of life is to be happy and fulfilled. I have begun diving into this by putting a big emphasis on going within and finding that as a place I can experience inside.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet amazing people, discover wonderful places to stay and get a local's perspective of the places I visit!

Finding people it's as if I've known my whole life and will know the rest of it one of the most profound and fantastic experiences I have had while traveling.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think the greatest hubris of humanity is that it thinks the world revolves around it. We are but a blink of an eye in the big picture. The most tangible evidence of this hubris is a single word that societies have obsessed over for millennia- Apocalypse.

Our whole estimated past is simply a blip in time, a cosmic blink of the eye. We have ascribed our demise to be the end of all things, when it is simply a change. Like a log from wood to ash when set alight.

So take a second and step back from the moment, remember someone who is long dead went through the same thing and it was just as all encompassing for them in the moment. it will be just as vivid or bereft of color, as when we read about it, as when future generations read about our same recollections of those moments.

People are the universe's internal dialect.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A calm perspective on the madness of life.

Stories about random things and the places I've lived in America.

Random observations about random things... Like, the cupboards are built too high for a short person and the sink too low for a tall person. No matter your height, you can't reach the cupboards and comfortably wash dishes! Madness!

Adventuring and finding new things to enjoy!

I make some fantastic homemade garlic french fries and a really good red pasta sauce!
