ABOUT ME

Hello to all fellow couchsurfers,
My name is Loc. I am a very sociable person with an inquisitive mind. I love meeting and talking to people over coffee or dinner. Due to my inquisitive mind, I have a wide range of interests from current affairs to politics, learning languages (currently learning German), history, townplanning, architecture, landscaping, the stockmarket, reading newspapers almost everyday to keep up with what is going on around the world. I am also very physically active. I love cycling (usually cycle at least 22km 5 to 6 days a week), follow soccer (go Bayern Munich!), jogging, swimming, playing tennis. I have NEVER used any kind of drugs, I do not smoke and I drink only once or twice a week and even then I rarely drink more than 1 can of beer. So, I would qualify as a very light drinker. I enjoy listening to music. My favourite kind of music would be categorised as easy-listening music such as classical music, French music, pop music, maybe rocknroll music, but definitely not heavymetal music or any kind of too-loud music because I often get a headache rather than enjoyment from that kind of music.
Since I do not have a photo of me uploaded, I just would like to give a brief description of my physical appearance: I am clean-shaven, no earrings or piercings, no tattoos, no long hair and I am a conservative and neat dresser.

PHILOSOPHY

Like most people on this planet I yearn to have a happy life. I guess what make me happy would be to utilise every opportunity that I get to live up to my full potential and to use my skills, learning and good fortune (if it ever comes my way) to help out some of the poor in the third world.

I am going to Europe in late Jan/2008 and I hope to have a chance to learn and improve my German.
