ABOUT ME

I'm a kind, generous, fun, opinionated kind of guy who appreciates good food (vegetarian) and most importantly good conversation. I'm interested in the arts and I am fond of both commercial and on the margin work. I love travelling, learning, seeing new cultures, keeping fit and spending time with my family and friends. I sing in the shower, enjoy the outdoors, being around animals and watching well crafted thought provoking film.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I currently live in a house with the owner and therefore the opportunity to surf is not available. However, I would love to meet any travellers coming to London.

Interests

People make my life engaging. I genuinely revel in making conversation with people I don't know; finding similarities and interesting thought provoking differences. I feel very comfortable talking with anyone who is also interested in getting to know other open minded people. Music with soul, harmonies and great vocals decorate my life with colour. I also enjoy up tempo bass heavy tracks which also leads me onto my love for dance. I appreciate all forms of dance and expressive performance. Whenever I can, I dance be it appropriate or not. Nature and animals complete my life and are a fundamental part of my life's enjoyment. I enjoy dancing, singing, reading, playing guitar, listening to piano, coffee dates, walks, weight training, boardgames, cooking, travelling the earth, swimming in the ocean, watching films with popcorn and friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A 7.6 earth quake in Japan (August 2009) left me awestruck/terrified. Seeing my baby sister go off travelling by herself for the first time to central America smiling through the tears streaming down her face and leaving us in the airport terminal left me both proud and in awe.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would be willing to share my knowledge of film and film construction (should anyone be interested!), help anyone improve their English and ideally someone who speaks French as I wish to become fluent in French. I also really, really, really want to learn the piano but can't afford the lessons at present so if anyone would be happy to teach me the basics I'd be thrilled!
