ABOUT ME

I'm an energetic and enthusiastic person. I'm curious about and interested in almost everything, even though my preferred domains are literature and history. I left home for my studies in 2006 and I've thus moved away from being shy and quite useless in everyday life to taking more initiatives and learning how to deal with myself. I love getting committed in some group projects and I love to help others at any time, as far as I can.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I usually host friends because I like to help and have people at my place. Doing the same with couchsurfers is just a logical consequence :). I like to travel with couchsurfing, it is the best way to discover new places !

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I began couchsurfing by chance. I was supposed to go to Reading (UK) to find a place to live in for a year and all the cheap hotels happened to be fully booked because of the festival, so I ended up registering on CS. And now, I use it every time I travel on my own, because it's just a perfect way to meet new people and get to know the place you're going to :).

兴趣

Literature, cinema, hanging out with friends, talking..and of course travelling when I get the chance to ! I've recently gone back to doing more sports: volley ball and running, and also as often as I can hiking in the Pyrénées !

音乐、电影和书籍

I'm a huge fan of Tolkien's work as far as literature is concerned. Apart from Tolkien, I read mostly English and American literature. I listen to many types of music (rock, pop, ska, reggae, folk etc.), but mostly electro music lately (trance, dubstep, dub) and I'm willing to discover other types, singers, etc. I like most funny, romantic and action movies. I love also old movies or 'reflexion' movies. I can't watch suspense or horror movies because I'm too sensitive...

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I've never been witness to anything really amazing..at least I think so. I've done some "crazy" things (in my own scale, which may be quite ridiculous to really adventurous people), like going back to Paris from Reading (UK) for just one night (for a students' party), while I was teaching on the morning after. But I'm not really adventurous in fact. I'm quite proud of having traveled on my own with CS for a whole week in Northern England, but that's how far I went :). I've been lucky enough to have been able to travel in Saudi Arabia too.

I guess I could teach a bit of French, but also Spanish or English, according to the languages you know or not :). Otherwise, nothing much...I know how to juggle with poi and how to sew. I'll be glad to learn anything you might want to teach me :).
