A relatively quiet person, but outgoing just the same. Easy going, compassionate, can be spontaneous, love an adventure, whatever that may be.

I love to meet people from all walks of life, and really get to know them, and share stories.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would love to show others my great little corner of the world ---

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None --- but I did have a great experience when in New Zealand in 1985, when people we met on a bus, invited us to their home for dinner and a roof over our heads for a couple of nights.

兴趣

Besides my two grown children of course, I get absolute joy from nature and hiking, especially when I'm in the mountains. Also love skiing, kayaking, bikeriding, dancing and working in the yard/garden. Would love to learn a couple more languages --- currently working on improving my Spanish.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

it all started last summer --- Maroon Bells, Colorado was on my "bucket list", I saw a post on backpacker.com forum where I had been surfing for a couple of weeks, the person was looking for companions to hit the trail with, I answered, and ended up meeting 4 great hiking companions from Colorado and Texas, virtually the night before the 5-day hike started. We got along famously. That's when I knew we can make things happen, and make the most out of every opportunity that is thrown our way, There are fantastic people everywhere!
