About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Work keeps me from traveling as much as I'd like, so I travel vicariously through my couch-surfing guests

ABOUT ME

Before college, I'd traveled minimally. After I took the plunge to study abroad in the Czech Republic (Olomouc), I haven't looked back. Many countries, new friends, and great experiences later, I'm a traveler.

I have a passion for exploration, engaging conversation, language, music, dark chocolate, and good beer. However, beer is pretty bad in Korea, so if bring a beer or a six-pack from abroad, I'd make it up to you in spades.

PHILOSOPHY

Life in experience.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love exploring my new city and the surrounding, and always have a great time as a city guide, even with my somewhat limited knowledge. I also enjoy company and have room for people to crash.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I began by hosting people from all over the world (here in the US, Germany, Israel). When I went to Chicago, I met up with a great couchsurfer who took me in and treated me like family. The entire concept of couchsurfing is great--who wouldn't want to be and to have local tour-guides?
