CURRENT MISSION

I'm not entirely sure what I'm up to, and I am in absolutely no hurry to pin that down just yet. Let's grab a beer and nerd out about music, history, travels, and the power of people and places.

ABOUT ME

I was plucked from a mid-sized East Texas town in my formative years and thrown into North Texas suburbia where I met many of the wonderful friends that I still have today. Punk Rock either ruined or saved my life -- not sure which. I play in some bands, I travel when I can, and I study History and Anthropology.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've certainly slept on my fair share of couches. My various residences through the years have always been open to touring bands and traveling friends. I love hosting and showing people around my town.

Intereses

History, music, beer, travel, isms, ancestors, nerd games, slacking, Texas. People, places, things. There are few things I love more than showing people around the city that I live in. It can take years for people to learn to like this place, and some people never do. I happen to love it, and would like to help you do the same.

Música, películas y libros

My favorite movies tend to be long and pseudo-historical. My favorite music can generally trace its pigeon-holed roots back to punk rock and beyond. The books I read are mostly historical nonfiction, with Bukowski and Vonnegut thrown in for good measure.
