ABOUT ME

My friends would describe me as interesting and fun to be around. I try to stay fit and eat well, and I enjoy discussing world affairs as well as anything related to personal and spiritual growth. I accept people as they are, and I love to learn about someone's life and experiences and beliefs. Overall, I just try to be kind to others and treat them the way I would want to be treated.

Interests

My life is getting simpler and simpler. My passion right now is to become fluent in Spanish, and I am an advanced intermediate learner at this point. Additionally, I have earned a TEFL certificate and have taught English as a second language both in the USA and in other countries, so going forward I hope to teach English more and more, specifically in Spanish American countries where I can improve my Spanish. Other than that, I love to ride my bike, go hiking, exercise at the gym, eat well, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living in Guatemala for 2 months was pretty awesome, I spent 2 months there in Spanish immersion school. And during the first month I participated in a social work project that (among other things) built stoves in the homes of indigenous Mayans. That was an eye-opening experience.
