I first learned about couchsurfing when I was traveling through Europe. I took a city tour in Berlin and an art tour in Paris, meeting some great people. I have only used it once for a bed in the Bahamas and loved the experience. That was five years ago.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have done a lot of hostel traveling and I love it because of the opportunity to meet other travelers from all over the world and to share in their knowledge. However, it can sometimes be difficult to get off of the often traveled path. I am hoping that through couchsurfing I will be able to not only meet great and interesting people , but also people who have a deeper understanding and knowledge of the place I want to explore.
