I released myself from everyday life; quit my job, my flat , my stressed and messed up mind^^ ; to free myself and explore the endless wideness of Canada.

ABOUT ME

I`m Fraense, 24 years old and I was born and raised up in Germany. My name is Franziska but I prefer to be called after my nickname Fraense. I`ve grown up in a village right in middle of Germany. The area is called Thuringian Forest. After I finished school I flew to Australia to Work & Travel for a year. Best time in life so far. Especially those 6 months working/living on Fraser Island. Love the Australian way of life and always would love to go back there, even if it`s just for holidays. When I came back from OZ I started an apprenticeship to become a travel agent. Doing this for about 4 years now.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I`m on the Work & Travel Programm of Canada. Flying over at the beginning of September; finishing by... I don`t know yet, we´ll see ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I don`t have any couchsurfing experience yet. I´m used to share rooms with friends and friends of friends. I like to invite friends to my place, cook together, have movie nights or go on hiking or sightseeing trips. Allmost every weekend I have friends at my place. Coz of this fact I guess I´m probably a good person to invite or get a invitaion from ;)

Interests

I love beeing outside. Love nature and the feeling of getting lost in the moment, forgetting about everyday life at work. I also like hiking. Going on hikingtrips with friends quite often in the past few years.

I also got a passion for photography and baking.
Always wanted to became a confectioner. Now it´s only a hobby I love.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Working and living on Fraser Island/Australia was the best time of my life so far. I`ve also done a skydive and whale watching which was great.

The best holidays I had so far was driving all the way around beautiful Ireland with my brother.
would love to repeat that! felt in love with the country!
