CURRENT MISSION
Preparing for my next adventure: Semester abroad in Israel!
ABOUT ME.
Hi, I'm Tina :)
Wanderlust is part of my identity. I feel like the world is my home and I need to discover as many parts of it as possible. Before I was living in South Africa in 2012/2013, I only visited few countries (France, Luxemburg, Denmark) .
After experiencing another country for almost a year, I couldn't help but taking any chance to travel that came up. My studies are international, which makes me to spend some more time abroad. I decided to go to Israel, where I want to spend wonderful 9 months. Couchsurfing will hopefully be part of my adventure.
I'd like to meet great people, discover special places and enjoy my time and everything that crosses my path.
I'm involved in several initatives, where I work with other young thinkers, organize events and hopefully help others to understand what's happening in the world (at least part of it). Those activities are very important to me. I'm very creative and love to organize and create new things. Entrepreneurs inspire me and I'll be one of them in the future - that's at least what I'm hoping to do.
I love to be active: working and studying, exploring the world, meeting people, join creative discussions, doing sports, watching movies, dancing, create new situations...
... but I also need space for myself. I love drawing and writing, taking pictures, reading and thinking about my life and all that's happening in the world.
PHILOSOPHY
'I have always believed, and I still believe, that whatever good or bad fortune may come our way we can always give it meaning and transform it into something of value.' (Hermann Hesse)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Couchsurfing is a great opportunity to discover the world not only as a tourist. By staying with locals, I get to know different cities from inside, which is always my favorite perspective. Couchsurfing is also about meeting great people and sharing experiences. I believe, everyone has an interesting story to tell and I'd be glad to hear it.
I didn't host someone yet but am always open to try.
SEPTEMBER '15: I'm currently preparing my stay abroad in Israel, which is why I do not have the possibility to share my room/flat.
