I love the diversity of people and places, I love hospitality and "demobbing" stereotypes and generalisations. I've "done" the "tourist routes" and love seeing and learning about the amazing places I've gone, but I now want to travel with "the locals", getting to know the people and stories behind the places I go!

Favourite books include Lord of the Rings, the Narnia Chronicles by C.S Lewis, Pride & Prejudice, Jane Eyre, anything by Mary Stewart or Dorothy Dunnett....open to suggestions.....
