Hi :) My name is Franziska but most people call me Frances. Normally I study at the Technical University in Dortmund, but I am currently studying for 1 year in the beautiful city of Groningen in the Netherlands.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling is one of the most amazing things to spent your time :) I´d love to offer people the opportunity to explore the city I am living in giving them some advices what to visit and spent some time with them. On the other side of course I would also be grateful if people show me the place where they live, giving me an opportunity not only to crash for the night but also learn something about their culture, language etc.
I am really looking forward to meeting interesting new people!

I am really into music: mostly going to concerts, listening to music at home, collecting vinyl and sometimes trying to play the guitar :P
But I am also completely crazy about reading good books, writing own stuff and watching series :)

Favorite music: Frank Turner, Rise Against, Editors and loads of other stuff
" movies: Honestly I am more into series but I love Quentin Tarantino movies, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, The Imitation Game etc.
Favorite Series: Doctor Who, Sherlock, Supernatural, How to get away with Murder etc.

Favorite books: Thriller like Stephen King & Scandinavian crime novel; -> too many to count them all

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I feel like a lot of amazing things happen in my life but one of the best things is my stay abroad :) I met so many amazing people from all over the world, which I can now call my friends. It´s really something everyone should do!

Teach, Learn, Share

I hope to meet people who can teach me something about their culture and especially their language :) That would be awesome! Unfortunately the only thing I can teach in return is German
