To expand my knowledge of ways in which to live happily, healthily and sustainably

ABOUT ME

I mainly enjoy being outdoors being active in some way - cycling, hiking, ski-ing, yoga, running, river/lake swimming or simply rambling along a country path.

I like to pick up instruments, most notably ukulele and (most recently) guitar and am happy singing and strumming along to my own songs.

I've spent the last 6 months wwoofing (working on organic farms) due to a massive interest in self sufficiency/sustainability and am keen to learn more traditional crafts and skills. So far I've learned how to weave a couple of pieces using reeds. farms)

Ran a half marathon in Victoria, 2011

Volunteered at the winter olympics in Whistler 2010; amazing.

Roadtrip across Canada in a '84 campervan (Betty) Whistler -> Toronto in the summer of 2009.

Hiked to the top of the anti-atlas mountains in Morocco in 2003.

Teach, Learn, Share

Couchsurfing promotes community values and helps to foster and strengthen positive international relationships. People who join CS are willing to share and help others, and are conscious that a 'stranger is a friend that you haven't met yet'. Get as many people couchsurfing as possible, and soon enough the world will be a happier, friendlier place :)
