CURRENT MISSION

Started in June 16, 2017, I was able to travel for 4 1/2 months to Australia, Taiwan, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, India and Thailand. Now, (November 29, 2017), I am starting a 10 week volunteer placement in Cambodia. My mission is to learn about the culture, way of life of the people wherever I end up in. Eat my way around those places. Make friends along the way UNTIL I figure out what I want to do with life next.

ABOUT ME

I'm usually quiet at first. I like observing people and the environment. And then I warm up and I become talkative. Most people would tell me, they would hear and notice my laugh first before getting to know me. I could not help it. I love laughing without inhibition.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that whatever we hope to do in life we can do. It is actively pursuing and making our desires a reality. It takes a lot of hard work to achieve it. In the end, you will realize, it was worth the struggle.

When I am back home, I host and meet up people whenever I have the time.
Now that I am traveling, I participate in CS Hangout from time to time and hopefully surf one of these days.

I like reading than watching movies. I will read all sorts of books from cheesy romantic novels, magicks, history, biographies and everything in between. At some point, I was a Korean Drama fan, reading transcripts rather than watching the series.

With Music, I just download the Global Top 50 on Spotify and if I was nostalgic, I would also play the songs of popular girl bands and boy bands of my time. American Country Music has a special place in my heart (but I have none in my play list right now.) I'm bad with lyrics but I usually know the chorus of my favourite songs.

SOLO TRAVEL.
Always, it has something to do with travel.

It started with going to Australia on an Internship after I passed my board exam not knowing a single soul from there and not having any idea what Australia is like.
That is one decision I never regretted even though I almost wiped out my savings 10 years ago. :)

After that stint in Oz, I realised that I can manage and survive traveling solo.

I'm perpetually curious about things that interest me. It changes as I age. I love learning about how people go about their everyday lives in their own local environment.

What I can share with people I meet would be my own perspective on Life, my learnings as I travel and interact with people and the skills I have picked up along the way.
