About Me
Hello! I'm Francesca, an italian 24-year-old girl living in the province of Mantua, a small but beautiful city situated in Lombardy, in the north of Italy. I have been studying Psychology and living in the city of Padova in the past five years. Here I met inspiring people that helped me growing and questioning my previous beliefs. I am currently finishing my master's degree in Neuroscience and Neuropsychology at University of Padua, Italy. I'm planning to graduate soon, and then having a one-year long internship in clinics and mental health centres. I'd really like to become a good psychotherapist and researcher, and help people who are suffering from illness. I love science and I am a fan of scientific method (ask my friends: they will confirm!) but hey, I do not forget humanities. Humanistic studies and Literature are a great passion of mine, without which I could not feel properly "alive".
In my spare time, I like visiting museums, going to theatres, reading, and hiking or biking in the countryside or by the lake.
I have a passion for mediterranean environment and little islands: transparent and clear sea, olive and lemon trees, sunny weather and healthy food. Mediterranean way of life, with simple, heart warming and unconditioned hospitality really get me.
I'm also fond of classical mithology, ancient legends and folklore. Listening to other people's stories of life, experiences, and way of thinking and seeing reality is fascinating and it is something that I never want to stop learning.
I love spending time in nature, enjoying the simple moments of life with family and friends.
