Overview
About Me
Hi, I’m Francesca and I’m an easy going, sociable and joyful person. I enjoy travelling especially alone because I’m always so curious about living and experiencing the culture where I am.
For me the concept of travelling is a solo-travel inside you everytime. For this reason, in the last 3 years I abandoned the idea of going away with organized travels with friends or group of people. I’ve always felt something inside that it didn’t give me the pleasure to do that kind of stuff that many young people used to do when travel: party, relaxing and having fun somewhere. Then, from 2022 I said “let’s try to do whatever you feel to or go by yourself even though you’re alone”. I mean from my first solo trip to Spain, then I just started to do it whenever I had time.
This didn’t mean and still doesn’t mean to feel alone, when you backpack and travel you’ll always find people around you to connect with.
Then, I started to do volunteering projects in communities and be interested in what means living in a community (I mean every one is different and it has it’s own peculiarities). In the last two years I lived for some months in two different communities in Portugal and the north of Tenerife.
I met people from all around the world, who gave me the pleasure to connect, open up, to share, to feel emotions together. At the end all of us are connected and in a huge backpackers/ travelers community.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I wanted to meet new people now that I’m living in Spain.
