I grew up mostly in San Francisco, with a year in Paris. Went to film school, worked on a documentary and now am spending some time trying to paint and travel as much as possible with Los Angeles as a home-base. Have artistically inclined family all around me that influence a similar propensity towards the arts and also love the outdoors particularly that involving salt and sand.

Had a wonderful experience in India with Couchsurfing about 5 years ago and back to try it again while spending a few weeks in Australia with my best friend, Jaime who also needs a place to stay. My sister and her boyfriend will be in town and much of my family lives in Australia (many of whom I haven't seen in over 10 years!) Jaime is an avid rock climber and I'm a serious beach bum so we'll definitely be out and about most of the days.
