ABOUT ME

I'm an open minded guy, curious about the world's people and facts. I like read, exchange opinions about various matters... I love the good kitchen, and about it i'm fortunate to stay in italy :), but i like discover foods and drinks in the countries i travel. I like drink wine and beer (last weekend i was to Oktoberfest, fantastic) together my friends, going to florence by night for a night in one of the places of "movida fiorentina" or for walking in the streets of this wonderful city. sometimes i also come back in my hometown, La spezia, near famous cinque terre, expecially on summer. La Spezia is a small town but the place around are fantastic (not only cinque terre, go to Portovenere, Lerici, Tellaro, and watch the gulf from La Serra di Lerici, or Solaro di Lerici)...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

It's not simple for me to host people because I live near Quarrata, in a place not easy to reach with public services... but if you come in weekends, and I am at home, I can't take you to Florence and other places in Tuscany by car...
Also I would like to visit other countries, expecially in europe.
anyhow I would like know people who live or travel in florence, or in other places near my small town (have a coffee, drink, aperitivo, pizza, or a funny night together)...

Historic novel (Umberto Eco, wu ming, margherite yourcenar, victor hugo, hemingway), spy stories (greene, le carrè)
