I love to jump in my car or sailboat and just drive - or sail - until I find a place I want to stop!

PHILOSOPHY

I think life is about learning and growing. I put a lot of passion in everything I do and I am very driven by projects.

I love to meet travellers from around the world that are open minded and have adventures to share.

I love the CS philosophy: Teach, learn, share. So right!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate by hosting surfers and by meeting locals everywhere I go! I love my city and it is always a pleasure for me to show you around!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted some surfers at home and met lots of others during my trips! I have had only super-positive experiences and have been really surprised by how you can easily come close to people you just met!

I really love the CS experience and I think it's the best way to travel!

Interests

Cycling! I recently I now take by bike everywhere I go to find some country roads and get panoramic views!

Sailing! I plan to take some sailing lessons so I can navigate a sailboat to the most remote beaches and ports! (UPDATE) I have owned a sailboat for three years now and I'll be pleased to show you Montreal from the St-Laurent river! Also, if you wish to stay IN the boat during your stay, let me know! It is available from mid May to mid October and located in a marina at a 10 minutes walking distance from the metro station in Longueuil.

Renovating! I have owned a renovation company for several years now as well as an apartment building in which I did a lot of works, that is a passion!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been spearfishing under the water in the caribbean sea with some Jamaican fisherman.

I climbed volcanos in Equador!

I did a three weeks sail-trip to Tadoussac with my girlfriend in 2014 to go see the whales and explore the Saint-Laurent.

I did a 2 months road trip in the Southern US with a 1972 VW bus. Unfortunately, I sold the bus after ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can provide a lift from/to the airport or metro station depending on your flight/bus schedule, guided tours of the city, either by car or on the water in the summer, take you fishing, show you the best spots in MTL, or take you pretty much anywhere!

Most importantly: I'll provide you a key of the apartment, wifi access, clean bed sheets and a map of the surroundings with the hot spots!
