ABOUT ME

I am NOT A LOCAL, I have only been here since March 2018 so not the person to choose if you need an introduction to Varna.

I am a 56 year old retired school teacher who has enjoyed living in the beautiful culture rich city of Istanbul, Turkey for 30 years. Some people call me adventurous but I would say I am just a normal human being with a craving for travel. I have travelled around Turkey extensively on my motorbike, I have been very fortunate to visit some of the places that other travellers haven't been able to get to. I hope to do similar kind of exploring in Bulgaria in the future. At the moment I am enjoying my new neighbourhood on the outskirts of Varna.

I heard about couchsurfing from a member who was travelling in Turkey, so far I have had only a few CS experiences as a host Looking forward to more hosting.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I am lucky enough to have done quite a few amazing things ( in my eyes of course) but the latest is sailing a 32 year old wooden boat, with two amazing Bulgarians, from Bebek, İstanbul to Varna.
