I would love to meet cool new people from all over the world. I need some variety. I can be quite shy at times to I guess couchsurfing could be a nice excuse to actually go towards people and get to know them instead of always just letting them come to me.

I enjoy pretty much anything music-wise, but I do especially love everything that's electronic/trip-hop/industrial/darkwave/ambient-ish, among other genres. I really wish I could've lived the 80's and 90's. Nine Inch Nails, Collide, Hungry Lucy, Burial, Massive Attack, Alexisonfire, Chromatics, Tori Amos, Lana Del Rey, Portishead, Crystal Castles... I adore every single one of 'em. And a whole bunch of others. Music is such a big part of my life, I just can't get enough of it.

I'm not that big of a reader, but I do enjoy a good book from time to time, mostly classics. A few favourites of mine would be George Orwell's "1984", José Saramago's "Blindness", and F. Scott Fitzgerald's "The Great Gatsby".

I'm not that big on movies either, although I somewhat wish I was (I've been told I really lack film culture!) I have seen a few good ones though. Some of my favourites would have to be Pulp Fiction, The Green Mile, Run Lola Run, Drive, Garden State, le Fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain, The Shawshank Redemption, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Good Will Hunting, Kill Bill and pretty much everything by Xavier Dolan. Think I really should subscribe to Netflix eventually.
