My name is Francisco and I'm from a lovely land seated at the heart of the Caribbean sea, the Pacific ocean and the Andean Mountains: Colombia.

I'm a graphic designer and Spanish as a foreign language teacher , so if you are struggling to learn Spanish, I'd be glad to lend you a hand!

I'm a calm and friendly guy who loves listening and learning from others.

I'm a nature lover and one of my greatest dreams is to explore the world; however, I haven't travelled too much. I'm eager to be immersed in new cultures and new points of view and discover the differences that make us part of the same humanity. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m here because I believe traveling is more about people than places.
I’m interested in meaningful conversations, cultural exchange, and sharing everyday life rather than just “visiting” a city.

I love the idea of discovering a place through someone who actually lives there — learning their routines, favorite cafés, hidden corners, and the stories behind them.

I’m deeply interested in languages and how they shape the way we see the world. I work as a graphic designer and Spanish teacher, so I’m always observing how culture, design, and communication connect.

I enjoy walking through cities without rushing, discovering architecture, sitting in cafés, and having long conversations about life, identity, travel, and personal growth.

I’m also passionate about coffee culture (yes, I’m Colombian ☕), museums, visual arts, and quiet moments of reflection.

Music:
I enjoy romantic and emotional music in different languages — Italian, Spanish ballads, some indie pop, instrumental soundtracks. I like music that tells a story.

Movies:
I appreciate films with strong aesthetics and emotional depth — European cinema, thoughtful dramas, and sometimes animated films with symbolic meaning.

Books:
I love books that mix poetry and philosophy — The Little Prince has a special place in my heart. I also enjoy literature connected to identity, language, and human relationships.

Finishing my Master’s degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language and turning my research into something meaningful for my professional path.
