Hola amigos CouchSurfers!

My name is Francisco, a 24-year-old Mexican guy currently living, studying, and working in the beautiful city of Freiburg, Germany. It has been quite a journey for me since 2017 when I left my homeland, Mexico, for the first time to start a new chapter in Germany. Although it was tough leaving my entire family behind, this adventure has taught me so much about independence, resilience, and self-discovery.

One thing that defines me is my love for sports and outdoor activities. Whether it's cycling through scenic trails, hiking in the majestic mountains, or trying my hand at rock climbing, I am always up for an adrenaline-pumping adventure.

Beyond my passion for the outdoors, I am an ardent music enthusiast. Currently, I play in a ska and cumbia band here in our city, and there's nothing that brings me more joy than sharing my music with others. Music, for me, is a universal language that connects people from different cultures, and I'm always eager to explore these cultural contrasts through the lens of melody and rhythm.

Being a foodie, I am on a mission to embark on a gastronomic journey around the world. I believe that food is a gateway to understanding a culture's history, traditions, and values. So, if we get a chance to connect, you can be sure that I'll be excited to share my Mexican culinary delights and learn about your local dishes too!

Currently, I live with my family in Freiburg, which has added warmth and love to my life. We share our perspectives, laugh together, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

I am an open-minded, easy-going person, always ready to meet new people and embrace new experiences. CouchSurfing has already been a fantastic platform for me to connect with like-minded souls from across the globe, and I can't wait to expand my horizons further.
