ABOUT ME

He, i.e. this person who is writing this, is a rather philosophical man. He tries to think with his heart, what is not always easy for this bloke. He sees life as a precious present and he loves to unpack this present every day. He also likes to help other people to unpack their present as well.

PHILOSOPHY

We are temporal and eternal beings. Our body and mind will vanish, our soul remains. We often forget our eternal status and are getting lost in our thoughts and emotions. If we learn to listen to the eternal silence within us we could be so much more peacefull, compassionate and loving creatures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to catch the soul in to paintings. I want to express the human mind in full colour. Two days a week i walk with dementing older woman through the woods around my city.

Interests

Clouds always grab my intention. I love clouds! Several times i tried to paint them, but the process is processing.
I am also struck by the big differences in society, the enormous gaps between those who have and those who have not. People should invest in being rather than having. This is also my work, in general. I try in coaching people to get them to this point, the changing point: from the having mind to the being soul.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music has been my very intmate friend all my life. Singing is one of the most direct ways to express your heart and soul. Playing piano helps me to get in balance.
I love all kinds of music: Philip Glass, Mozart, Joy division, Einaudi, Gustav Mahler, Anton Bruckner, Beatles, Ramses Shaffy, Vedder etcetera.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once i was in Egypt, I saw little childeren laying in the gutter, mouth open, flies flying in and out.Hundred meters further a huge resort with the most unbelieveble richness.

Once I was in India and I saw childeren with nothing, just happiness in their dark eyes. Playing with nothing for hours, together.
