I've never lived in one place longer than three years straight. Always changed flats, cities and sometimes countries.

We can have a sophisticated discussion about the nature of philosophy or just talk about the weather. I'm very curious about other people and you can be sure I won't bore you.
I can also bring some distinguishable polish products for the host, like dill pickles or vodka (although I rarely drink myself).
