I'm a funny guy who can't settle for too long. I find reassuring that all my belongings fits in two suitcases. I'm reckless, I feel that life is too important to be careful.

I've started to travel by bicycle when I was younger, always challenging myself to go as far as I could ''by my own means''. I was travelling to nearby city close to Montreal at first, then Montreal-Toronto, then Newfoundland (then my bicycle broke in a village and I ended up staying there for two years. )

Now I prefer hitchhiking. As much as bicycle trips create this self-dependant, isolated and meditative experience, it's time consuming and expensive. Plus it doesn't lead to the unpredictable event that i strive for.

I'm a modern version of Don Quichotte, we shouldn't have read me all those bedtime stories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love couches. I'm a couch enthousiast. Whether we are talking about victorian style, traditional, or modern, I'm all about couches. I want to sleep on as many couches as I humanly can before I die. Couches are my one, one and only, pure and true passion.
I don't descriminate futon, nor bench, nor even chairs for a matters of fact. But there's this purity that radiate from couches. People think we sleep on them by mear convenience, but my 60 pages master thesis will prove you otherwise.

I am a visual artist. I love cooking and baking. I have not been able to travel that much, for financial reason, so I opted for travelling with a packsack, sleeping in hostel, and hitchhick, and i try to do it whenever I can.

Favorite books? Oscar Wilde's Portrait of Dorian Gray really hit some string. I'm reading Huysman's Against Nature. Camus is a big one too. I read Racine pretty often, Antigone is probably my favorite play.

Music. Daft Punk, Neutral Milk Hotel, PJ Harvey, Metronomy, Chopin.. I'd had Woodkid to the list, he only has one album so far right?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've bought this nice pair of sunglasses a few weeks ago, and I really feel great about it. It was the right decision, at the right moment.
