Hello everyone :) My name is François and I am a 24 year-old French student who loves to solo travel. I like to meet new people from different cultures and learn new languages. My favourite environment is the mountain where I find the most peace, sit down and take beautiful pictures. My family lives in France and we have 3 beautiful cats there which I miss very much! I love to talk about traveling, food, sport, geography and goofy people who are open to share a bit of their world to me.

Apart from this, I am currenty living in Germany for my studies (MSc mathematics).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am using Couchsurfing to find a couch for my next trip and also to make new friends! If you wish to help me travel more easily whatever the way it is (couch or simply meet and visit your city together), I would be more than grateful :)
Currently, I am unfortunately unable to host people as I am a tenant at someone else's house.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to all kind of music, but recently I started listening to Ukrainian popular folk songs and learn that great language.
I'm not really into movies, but I have watched some animes in my young age.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

All solo trips I've done have been amazing rewarding experience, but maybe the craziest I can think of at the moment is a 4-week long trip in India in September 2024 where I met wonderful people and experienced a true local stay.
I also volunteered 2 months in Catalonya, Spain in June 2024 where I experienced the true Catalan peaceful lifestyle and I found it fantastic.
