ABOUT ME

First, I was born. Then everything went very fast. Mostly, I listened to music, traveled, studied but not too much, went on humanitarian missions, then realized the woman I loved, Eve, was still in Paris and I needed her, then started teaching, had two kids, Célestin and Amphélise, and quickly realized it was time to hop around a bit. And here we are, leaving on July 9th, 2012 for wandering through Southeast Asia, Australia and South America.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've just decided to join the gang, so I'm unexperienced so far but I intend to host in my humble abode soon as I come home. On the other hand, I have had at home, for a brilliant night in, some surfers staying at my good friend Francois Long, a longtime Souchsurfing member.

兴趣

Music - from Pierre Boulez to Adele with lots in between - I must have been to two point five million concerts in my life; cinema - from Andrei Tarkovsky to Jude Apatow with lots in between; photography, and reading - books have always been my paper fortress.

My highlights : "Journey to the End of the Night", by Céline (no, not Dion, Louis-Ferdinand !); the complete Shakespeare; all of "Tintin"; "Bitches Brew", by Miles Davis; "Early Autumn" by Ozu...
But basically what counts is that at any other moment I would come up with another list.

Winning the Tour de France and working as an understudy for François Hollande. Just kidding.
Spending a whole day in a tiny town called "Paris" in Kyrgyzstan hitch-hiking to Uzbekistan... before I realized the road was closed.
