CURRENT MISSION

In June 2017&2018 my wife Annebeth, our 1 year old Ayla and myself visited the South coast of England by car, staying on a Scouting camp site in New Forest. We hope to do it again next year!

I'm your typical boy scout. Help out where I can leading a sober life. Trying to teach kids how to handle the world best via Scouting.

Enjoying card- & boardgames and the occasional movie/series.

OUR PLACE

We live in Baarn, NL (40 min train ride to Amsterdam, 30 to Utrecht, 7 to Hilversum&Amersfoort), 20 minute walk from train station Baarn.

We have a spare double bed in a private room (the 'outside house' - het Buitenhuis) & if need be, several extra Scouting ways for more guests to spend the night in the living room.
In the garden we have a huge firebowl, 3 meter wide couch, table & carpet under shelter, and a trampoline to top all that ;)

We love to meet new people, creative & (maybe) musical (bring your instruments!).

Our heart goes out to (former) Scouts, alternative/creative people and, of course, geeks (you know who you are;))
We are preferably looking for Scout-surfers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Scouting in England is wonderfully hospitable.

We previously hosted 15 couchsurfers at home (up till now max 4, but preferably 1 or 2 at the time) and my airscout group can host up to 20 people in our headquarters in Zeist, NL: www.luvaze.nl
(For a reasonable fee payed to our good will: Scouting)
As I said, we have a private room outside the house with a double bed.
