I am an award-winning cook who wants to travel the world and learn about different cultures. I am an open-minded and easy-going person. I hope to add to my perspective of life.

I have worked in my hometown of Toronto, Canada for 3 years as a cook and an English teacher. I have also spent 3 years volunteering with children teaching sports. Now, I am travelling to as many countries I can before I need to return home.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am here to travel the world, make friends, share experiences and learn about life. I am also here to help hosts in any way possible so that they continue to host and support the community. I take every experience as a way to learn and better myself as a person.

Interests

I have many interests. Sustainable farming/permaculture, natural building and photography are some of my biggest interests. I am also passionate about cooking and traveling. I love hiking, camping and extreme sports. I have been skateboarding for 11 years and I have been skydiving once. I hope to get my skydiving license while I am traveling.

I am fluent in English and also have a bilingual diploma in French after studying the language for 12 years. I can help you to learn either language. I can also teach you how to cook or cook for you. I love to learn about sustainable/natural building and living systems. I am learning to play the ukulele. I enjoy learning and sharing anything that I can with the people around me. I love to learn about other people's experiences and perspectives.

I am a certified EFL teacher, so I can help you learn English. I also have a bilingual diploma in French, so I can help you learn either language.

I have worked as a chef for 3 years and worked in many restaurants. I am able to cook for you and/or teach you how to cook.

I am glad to share any knowledge, skills and experience that I currently have. I am very motivated to help my hosts with work they need done or anything I can do to make their experience enjoyable.
