À propos de moi

Just a Mexican English teacher discovering the wonders of travelling. This year has been amazing so far... I've been abroad once and I'm about to be again, this time to Canada, and in the end of the year, if everything goes as planned Europe. Do I have the money? Just for the ridiculously cheap tickets, let's see how I survive when I get there :).

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I've been on vacation abroad a couple of times in my life, but there I met a lot of people who helped me a lot getting around the place with recomendations and I want to do that with visitors here in Mexico. Sadly Mexico has this reputation of being dangerous, which depends on where you stay and go -I'm not gonna lie- but I think I can help peple that visit us with a bunch of advice. Moreover when I travel I'm always on a budget, so staying on your couch would save me some dollars and would give me what I call a "real local experience" :D

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I recently went to Japan, the whole experience has been the most amazing time I've ever had in my life. Getting to know a completetly different culture made me realize of how self centred we sometimes are. If I had to choose a memorable thing from the trip I would have to choose two: arriving to Shibuya and crossing the crowded streets for the first time and then eating Sakura tea at local's home in Kyoto.

In Mexico I love going to long walks, not in the city, in my hometown. There's one mountain in Hidalgo State that is great for hiking, I have got to the top only once in my life and I remember the view was BREATHTAKING

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

Teach: perhaps a bit of Spanish if you like :) I can teach you to cook some good Mexican food too!
Learn: Eventhough I'm an English teacher in Mexico, most of my speaking practice hasn't been with native speakers, so in order to teach my students something real I have to experience it on my own. So I want to speak speak and speak as much as possible, moreover language is culture and to teach or share a bit of that... well you've got to experience it. Also I'd like to learn a bit about photography, I love taking photos, but I just have my mobile camera, which has been enough so far :)
Share: the few experiences I've had in my life :D
