I love history - and the present.
I love to solve puzzles.
I love music.
I love to travel (incredibly rare on couchsurfing, obv's).
I love to discuss. Any topic.

In my studies, I mainly focussed on the digitisation of cultural heritage. I have always loved to get to know new ways of looking at things while travelling - and what better vessel than cultural remains, spanning centuries and centuries of human ideas? The drive to keep exploring, inspired me to work in IT outsourcing. One day I work for a health insurance company and the next for a big food chain, which is pretty neat!

I absolutely loved getting to know people through trips. Really lookin forward to connect to more people through this wonderful medium!

Interesses

My background in history and cultural heritage pretty much give away my interests. I love to figure out how we ended up in the world we know today.

I absolutely love to play the electric guitar. Few things in my life have been a constant factor, but I suppose that is one of the few!

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

I really love progressive rock. My favourite band in the world would be Porcupine Tree. I also love a lot of classic rock, Jimi Hendrix as a huge source of inspiration.

I have seen some great movies over the last year. My favourite would be Cinema Paradiso. More recently, Jagten (or: The Hunt) was one of the absolute highlights.

I don't read as much as I would like, but Alain de Bottons Essays on Love was definitely my favourite last year.

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

Pretty humble, given all the sexy backpackers stories here, but playing guitar on stage has to be the most amazing feeling. On another guitar-related note, I was really glad to pick up my absolute favourite guitar in a shop last year when I was in New Orleans.
