ABOUT ME

I'm a 40 something year old professional and fun adventurer. I currently live in Frederick, MD, though I travel often (personally and professionally). I love to go rent an airplane and get away for a weekend!

I love most ethnic foods. Thai is the best, but I also enjoy Punjabi, Lebanese, Japanese (sushi) and Greek. Give it to me Spicy! I've worked as a Sushi chef in the past; trained in Japan.

Though I love the occasional big event, I'm more comfortable in smaller, more intimate, groups of people.

I suffer from an extreme case of Wanderlust.... sometimes at the expense of relationships. Along the way, I've encountered all 7 continents, all 50 states and over 100 nations. I write about my travels on other amatuer travel websites which you can find through my homepage.

I'm always thinking about where I can travel to next, and researching the destinations that I'm contemplating. I read maps as often as I read books, always dreaming of the next destination. Truth is, I contemplate eventually going everywhere, so I read about the world any chance I get. Did you guess that I subscribe to National Geographic? History, culture, food, religion, geography, politics, language..... it's all worth discovering. It's no wonder I graduated with a Geography/Mapping degree, but pursued a career in the aviation industry. Can you say 'Free Travel'?
