ABOUT ME

Technical Canyoneering

NAUI Master Scuba Diver / Rescue / Nitrox

I am a former editor for 2% Magazine. I will eat anything, except cilantro. I love photography. I want to river raft a class V run (again). I was a volunteer diver for the Santa Monica Baykeeper Foundation (need to go back out). I was a film student. I have no super-human abilities or powers. I appreciate fine cuisine. I can't dance. I enjoy playing the piano. I have never gotten stung by a bee. I can cook. I enjoy short fiction. When I was little I wanted to be the person who found the dinosaur bones. I tried to paint, but got lost. I do not smoke or do drugs, but sometimes I will pick out the yogurt raisins from trail mix.

PHILOSOPHY

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way when you criticize them, you are a mile away from them and you have their shoes.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I keep a vigilant eye for UFOs in the Northwestern sky, and report anything unusual directly to the administrators of Couchsurfing.org.

I also made a suggestion in 2006 to the Long Beach Couchsurfing Community on where they should hold the next $1 Taco Tuesday meet-up.
