About Me

Greetings! Originally from Los Angeles, but currently live in Baltimore and work in Washington, DC. I have also lived and worked in Germany and Kuwait. I travel often for work so this is a great way for me to meet locals and learn about their way of life.

COUCHSURFING: I have met some of the most amazing people on here and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I have been a Couchsurfer for over 14 years now and want to keep this spirit of giving and sharing.

PHILOSOPHY: We are all special and unique, and each one of us has something special to offer on the table. Diversity is what makes this life interesting. Diversity is what makes a society great, and resilient. As they say, there is strength in diversity. Let’s continue breaking down barriers and keep building bridges.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I didn't hear about CS until the day I had a garage sale and sold all my furnitures before moving back to California from Germany. I was introduced to the CS community from the lady who bought my couch in 2008!

I am here because I believe in the mission, which is building bridges across different cultures. I also believe the only way to overcome stereotypes is to actually step out of my comfort zone and immerse myself into the culture. This community is a great outlet for that. I have met some of the most brilliant, down-to-earth and amazing people through this community. I am also here because I want to give back to the community by hosting other travelers when I can, time-permitting, or share whatever I can whether it be food, drinks, music or laughter.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Most breathtaking roadtrip I've ever done was driving on the autobahn (A12) passing through Innsbruck in Austria coming from Italy in the middle of the night over a clear sky. Craziest festivals I've been to were San Fermin Running of the Bulls in Pamplona and Munich's Oktoberfest.

Teach, Learn, Share

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover"
