I don't fit in a box, but I love to talk and especially to people from different places. I love cultural exchange and having unique friends from all over the world. :)

PHILOSOPHY

"Do unto others what you would have them do to you." It comes from my up-bringing, but I'm not a Jesus freak, it's all about karma for me.

I'm aware that I am overly nice, but that does not mean I'm stupid. It means I try to pay attention to the energy I put into the world.

Laughing is my response to everything. Life is too funny to be offended.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am here to offer a friendly chat and a cup of coffee to anyone who happens by my door or inbox. I would like to go to a meet up of a local chapter. I am looking to make that happen by 2015. We will see.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't 'couch surfed' through this website, yet. Mostly because I have enough friends with couches that I don't need to ask strangers. However, I'd love to be in that situation soon.

Call to prayer in Istanbul (It is so cool how every mosque starts up at different times. It reminds me of a chant in rounds.) Note: I am not religious or a Muslim.

Teaching- I'm generally very empathetic and have helped several people with their conversational English. I'm not a pro, just really patient and intuitive.

Learning- I want to learn French, Italian and Turkish. I'm currently sitting State Side with Rosetta Stone. ;)

Sharing- I am willing to share a travel experience with someone if we both have a ticket at the same time and we both have a similar goal or motivation for the trip.
