Always looking for new adventures, love to explore; see, feel, taste, smell, listen and learn from places and people. I guess I like to ask myself questions, to consider ideas, always up for new experiences and trying new things, up for sharing them and engaging in conversations about anything and everything. I'm very open-minded and love to have fun.

PHILOSOPHY

It is my constant endeavor to immerse myself in new places, groups, communities to learn all I can from others' ways, opinions, ideas, languages, etc. in ways that are respectful, conscientious, and enriching to myself and (possibly) others.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live in a co-op during the academic year in Cambridge, MA, USA. It's a bit hard to host when I'm living there, but I travel during the summer so opportunities to host may arise depending on my housing situation. Will be in São Paulo, Brazil from June to August (2013) and then will travel to Tunisia for the rest of the year. On the meantime, I am very excited to start surfing soon and meeting with people for conversations, hanging-out, adventures, etc.!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am a couchsurfing newbie, but I have hosted many friends in Puerto Rico (love showing to/ exploring with people all of the wonders PR has to offer) and done several home-stays while being abroad. I was also able to meet some people for coffee in Paris with a friend/fellow couchsurfer, Emma Limon. It was a great way to meet people.

Interessen

Learning languages (and appropriating respective accents), meeting new people, learning new skills, immersing myself in other countries/communities/cultures. Being outdoors. Hiking. Backpacking. Biking. Gardening. Agriculture. Vegetarian cooking. Spontaneity.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Hike the Indian Himalayas for three weeks. Hike the Central Mountain Range of Puerto Rico (from east to west).

Lehren, lernen, teilen

Fluent in Spanish and English and always wanting to learn knew languages! I have worked in different community gardens so I have experience with small-scale urban agriculture. I've been cooking pretty often for the co-op I live in (32 people+) so I would be happy to cook for any host and learn different recipes. I enjoy playing soccer (futbol), basketball and tennis; running, swimming, biking, kayaking, and doing yoga.
