I'm a German girl traveling the world since Nov 2014. Used to live in the states for 15 months, have traveled all over Europe, been to Egypt, South East Asia, and live in NZ from 2015-2016. Am a teacher back at home.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I think couchsurfing is a great place to meet great people from all over the world, experience a different part of their local community, share stories about traveling and life, have a good meal together. And because I travel on a budget, couchsurfing gives me the chance to safe a bit of money that I can use to continue my travels for as long as possible, for the world is too beautiful to be lived in one place.

Intereses

I love traveling, because I want to get to know as many cultures as possible, and get in touch with people from all over the world. Also, I do enjoy the most common things, like reading good books, going to festivals, dancing at parties, listen to music, baking delicious cupcakes and pies, watching bad movies and invent my own dialogues.

Too many good and amazingly awesome movies, books, and movies. Favorite book of this month is "and the mountain echoed", favorite song: " Bilder I'm Kopf", movie: Les Intouchables

Algo increíble que he hecho

Traveled through Egypt on the Nile, walked across the Golden Gate Bridge (incredible feeling),
Hiked through the tea plantations in Malaysia,
Got away with not having my DL with me on a scooter tour in Indonesia, and not having to bribe the police officer,
Had an incredible experience when taking a holy bath in Ubud,
Teaching people new languages!
Went up Mt Taranaki, without having ever hiked a volcano before,
Trying all the weird foods at Asian night markets,
Going on a road trip along the Mississippi, shortly after Kathrina.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I don't need much when sleeping at a persons place. I'm pretty open-minded, down-to-earth and chatty. However, I can be quite sarcastic as well ;)
