Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

It's been a while I haven't couchsurfed. I started couchsurfing in Montreal in 2006, making friends thanks to the community, and getting some time to find an appartment to live in for the year. Then I couchsurfed in Nancy, then in Paris where I met Frédérique de Gravelaine, my favorite couchsurfer. She hosts about half the world every year in le 12ème arrondissement... then around the mediterranean for a book project: www.histoiresvraies.org , collecting true stories of the people around that sea... it was great to be able to meet people in those different countries I didn't know to start with...
Now it's been ten years I'm living in Marseille, owning a small apartment in the center.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
we had a very skinny activist at one point, when I was sharing an appartment in Lyon. I cooked him a dozen rhum-pancakes before he left. I felt better afterwards.
