I'm a german student who likes to learn all kinds of stuff. Honestly: I get distracted easily, which is why I'll probably end up studying for another while. Being a student is very enjoyable!
I love travelling and seeing new places but most importantly I'm interested in the people I meet. I like learning about differences and similarities between everyone and me.

I'm moving to a new city with a new uni and I don't know anyone there yet so I want to get to know the city, places and people, maybe even make some new friends. I'm a social person and want to get to know what I can do around there!

兴趣

I like all kinds of different things, talk to me about art (I couldn't draw a nice picture if my life depended on it but I adore artists),
music (I play the piano occasionally and have a deep weakness for listening to Jazz which I can't play unfortunately...),
plants (comes with studying to be a biologist, I guess? I don't have a green thumb yet... but things can change!),
baking (this is so much fun when I'm frustrated and the best thing is: I get to eat the cake or muffins afterwards!
Aaand: talking about what makes people passionate! I looove when people tell me about their passions, I get into it totally. (I have become passionate about dams, plane engines, teaching children, etc. before, I can go with ANYTHING) Just tell me about it, I want to know!

I like anything jazzy, but you can absolutely also lure me with a classical concert.
And yeah, I also like pop (I have been listening to Fitz and the Tantrums for the last week), rock (especially older stuff like the doors or something, but I'm not pretending to know much about it really), electro, DnB (I love to listen to some Pendulum when I get home after a night out, that's an eargasmic experience),... I'm always finding new things!

My favourite movies are The Fifth Element, Pride & Prejudice and Little Miss Sunshine. This decision shows my taste pretty well, is a bit dated though. I've seen a number of movies by now that should be taken into consideration but honestly: I'm just trying to see good movies. I love it when they look pretty (like Casino Royale or the new Mad Max), which Is also a reason I have a weakness for animated movies, especially Japanese ones. Yes, Disney is great, but so are Hayao Miyazaki, Satoshi Kon and Makoto Shinkai.

I don't have a favourite book but I really like reading, always have. Lately I have been concentrating on poetry though, there is such amazing beauty in poems... Anyway, just give me a good, intelligent novel and I'm gone for the rest of the day and reappear full of ideas and dumb comments. I don't enjoy brainless stuff or repetitive crime novels, I like thinking about it. (But don't imagine I haven't read Wuthering Heights at least five times already ^^)

I'll talk about biology and poetry with a passion but really, I'm interested in widening my horizon. Tell me about different things, I live in a 'sciency' environment right now, but that isn't everything: I've been talking with art students in the past year and have made good friends with engineers and a writer. It is amazing how the worldviews differ, let's compare!
