About Me
Hej,
my name is Franzi and am 25 years old. In September I stated my Masters degree in Computational Biomedicine (just a fancy name for bioinformatics) at SDU in Odense, DK. As I haven't see very much of my new home Denmark yet, I would love to get the country and the people living here better! So please share your traditions. Food, music, good stories - anything you can think of is appreciated :)
I would describe myself as easy-going and fun to be around. I love to spend relaxed evenings with a glass of wine and friends or a good book. Also I enjoy board games and love that Denmark has Cafés where you can play for hours and hours :)
I'd be happy if you would share your thoughts with me and I'm looking forward to get to know you!
Best, Franzi
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For meeting locals or people with other fascinating stories to share. And for sure also to get an insight into real life in the places I visit, not only the touristy stuff. I hope you're willing to show me you're life while I join you :)
Interests
I am into sports, which doesn't mean I hate junk food or sweets. More the other way around. I do sports to be able to eat lots of unhealthy stuff without having to think about it too much. :D
I also enjoy relaxed times with a good book or playing board games with friends :)
----> Just discovered that "cards against muggles" is awesome!
And even though I have more than enough assignments form my studies at SDU, I try to learn Danish atm. So if you speak it, teach me please!

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite song (and I cannot explain why, it just gives me shivers) is "Books from boxes" by Maximo Park.
The book I'm currently reading is called "Java - an introduction to programming".... Well, I don't have much time to read fun stuff lately
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Visited over 20 countries so far and set foot on 4 continents - hopefully many more to come!
went skydiving once - I'm still a little proud that I actually dared to do it :D
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you some German if you're interested ;) also I think my cooking skills are quite ok most of the time, so maybe I can share recipes or we can cook together.
And of course I will share my story with you, if you share yours with me ;)
