About Me

Current mission: to see Berlin through the eyes of a traveler while being a first-time entrepreneur

I'm a very open-minded, smiley, and energetic human being. I love to connect with people and I like to laugh - a lot. I believe in carbs, feng shui, zodiac signs, naps, and white chocolate moccas. I don't drink and neither do I smoke but I promise we can still have a good time :)!

I'm one of those people that wants to make the most of life. I think leaving your comfort zone every once in a while is a good thing and I highly encourage doing all the things you're scared of and/or always wanted to do. I will definitely support you in this :). So if there's anything on your bucket list that can be accomplished in a day, we should do it together!

Here's my bucket list:

I also spend a significant amount of time making videos for my Youtube channel where I encourage others to live a more meaningful life with less stuff. I have gone from materialistic to minimalistic myself and share the benefits and hacks to a simpler life with everyone who's interested here:

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I moved to Berlin about three years ago, I didn't know the city and I didn't have any friends here, which is why I thought it would be cool to explore Berlin with travelers from all over the world. So I started hosting. Couchsurfing has changed my life. From the moment I hosted the first person up until now, I've learned so much that I can honestly say that couchsurfing has opened up a whole new world for me. It is definitely my preferred way of traveling and something I'll keep on promoting until the day I die.

Interests

I do crossfit about three times a week and the box really is my happy place. It makes me feel like a million bucks and I appreciate the community that comes along with it. I actually enjoy most form of exercise but most recently I have fallen in love with partner acrobatics.

I also like doing crafty things such as making old-school friendship bracelets or recycling used candles into vintage tea cups. I'm also big on origami and I have to admit I do have one (or two or three) of those coloring books.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm into rap, r'n b, soul, trap, island vibe music, and anything chill that's got a good beat to it. I don't go out a lot but I love to dance and check out new clubs that I've never been to.

Not so big on movies and tv shows but some of my favorites are City of God, 500 Days of Summer, This is England, American Gangster, and Love & Basketball. I'm always down for documentaries and anything out of the norm. I guess, that goes for activities as well. The weirder the better! (And I have to admit I wouldn't want to live without YouTube!)

I'd honestly rather read a book than watch a movie on an airplane. I like book swaps and book stores. I really could get lost in those. I mainly read self-development books, books that are a little more on the spiritual side, and novels that don't have a happy ending or biographies. For instance, I enjoyed Norwegian Wood, The 5 Love Languages, and #girlboss.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I jumped out of airplanes when I was in the military, hitchhiked across the US with my dog in the summer of 2015, and about a year ago, I started my own business. But life really is full of amazing moments so I won't say that they only happen every once in a blue moon :)!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to fold a t-shirt in 2 seconds, how to improve your relationship by knowing your and your partners love language, and, on a good day, teach you how to doughie :).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I will lend you my ear and analyze life with you. I'll help you clean and get things done in your home if there's an unfinished project you've been meaning to tackle. I can walk your dog or feed your cat. I can do all the fun things with you you've been wanting to do in your city but never found anyone to do them with.
