ABOUT ME

I love to travel and I'm lucky that way since I get to travel a lot. I give a lot of conference talks around the world about children, play, computers and learning. I lived in the US (Oregon and Georgia), Denmark, Sweden, France and in my home country, Uruguay. I have taught at universities and started my own business.
I talk a lot! (that's what my friends say, at least :)
Since I travel a lot, I know that what makes a trip really great is the people you ran into. It's one thing to visit a city on your own and a hugely different thing to hang out with locals or at least to get some local advice.

Now that I have a family I don't host travelers anymore. However, if you are in Montevideo and want to grab a coffee in Ciudad Vieja, let me know !

TV Series (Mad Men, The Office, In Treatment, Six Feet Under, 30 Rock and a long list of more) - I wrote this list 10 years ago and it shows! ;)

Movies (everything and anything, from obscure indie films to Hollywood blockbusters)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-I've seen the whales in Southern Argentina.
-I've seen the frozen sea in Denmark.
-I saw a quetzal bird flying next to the pyramids in Yucatán, México.
-I toasted on the bridges between Buda and Pest.
-I watched the koalas in Australia.
-I saw a gigantic flower in Brazil.
-I ate really weird stuff in Singapore.
-Two strangers cured my back ache on a train in Italy.
-I took a nap in a Japanese garden in Tokyo.
