Hello! We are Fraser (from Scotland) and Alba (from Spain). We are currently cycling from Edinburgh, Scotland to Cabanillas del Campo, Spain. We will be cycling through the UK, France and Spain on our trip.

We would love to share our stories and time with hosts along the way, and to make new friends.

Couchsurfing is a great way to travel and to meet new people all over the world, and make lasting friendships. Also, of course we need some places to stay while on our adventure, and we look forward to being able to host other travellers in the future.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

(Fraser) I read a lot, and I've been inspired by several travel books. These are the books of Patrick Leigh Fermor, who walked across Europe in his youth, and whose route I followed. And also Laurie Lee, who wrote about walking across Spain in his book "As I walked out one midsummer morning". Apart from travel books I read a lot about European History, and many novels.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

(Fraser) In 2018 I did a long walking trip across Europe, from Rotterdam to Vienna. (My original intention was to get to Istanbul, maybe I will do the second half someday). It was a journey of 1200km and many nights in a small tent.

(Alba) In 2018 I left my home in Spain to go and live in Edinburgh on my own. Since then I have been exploring all the beautiful places Scotland has to offer.
