About Me
Hi, I’m Fraser! I’m a curious and open-minded traveler from Scotland who loves exploring new places, meeting people, and learning about different cultures. As someone who enjoys meaningful conversations, I’m always eager to exchange stories and perspectives with fellow travelers and hosts. I love to meet new people in new destinations and spend time with them to learn about their country, culture and history.
When I’m not traveling, you can usually find me hiking in nature, practicing yoga, or getting lost in a good book. I’m also passionate about photography, especially capturing hidden gems and scenic landscapes.
I enjoy immersing myself in local life, whether it’s through art, museums, history, or simply wandering markets with a good cup of coffee. I also have a deep appreciation for 🏳️🌈 inclusive spaces and love connecting with others who share my values.
Whether we’re chatting about life over coffee, exploring your favorite local spots, or sharing travel tips, I’m always up for new experiences and building connections.
Looking forward to meeting you!
Travel is not about the places you see, but the people you meet and the connections you make along the way ✈️
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because I believe the best part of traveling is the people you meet along the way. Staying with hosts allows me to connect on a deeper level, learn about a place through the eyes of someone who truly knows it, and share stories and experiences.
I don’t just see Couchsurfing as a place to stay. I genuinely want to spend time with my hosts, whether it’s exploring local spots together, chatting over a meal, or learning about your favorite things in your city. For me, it’s all about building meaningful connections and making travel a shared adventure.

Music, Movies, and Books
You’ll usually find me glued to my Kindle, diving into everything from thought-provoking non-fiction to escapist fantasy and sci-fi. I love getting lost in stories, whether they’re fictional worlds or inspiring travel memoirs. If you’ve got a great book recommendation, I’m all ears! When it comes to music, my playlists are a mix of chill vibes for hiking, upbeat tracks for road trips, and anything that makes me feel connected to the moment.
Movies? It’s horror/thriller all the way 👻
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I’ve sailed the Panama Canal and raced a speedboat through Gatun lake. This journey reminded me how travel can be both exhilarating and humbling, connecting us to history, nature, and a sense of adventure all at once.
Teach, Learn, Share
I’m always keen to learn about local customs, languages, and anything that inspires creativity or mindfulness. Whether it’s a skill, or just a fresh perspective, I’m eager to soak up new experiences. If you’re curious about Scotland, I’d love to share insights about my home country - its history, culture, and some hidden gems off the tourist trail.
