(I should clarify: "learning" those languages varies from actively practising and improving, to having vague aspirations to continue working on them. :P But I can say a few words in each.)

Hi, I'm Freddy! Obvious stuff nearly out the way, I like to travel and meet people from all over the world---though I've yet to manage this very extensively, the wanderlust bug is firmly lodged and growing inside me, soon to hatch when I have more free time and resources.

I am still a student (hopefully to be graduating soon!), and I also sing, play guitar, am a board-game and D&D enthusiast, and in my remaining spare time I love to hike, climb, swim, and cycle. And, importantly, when the opportunity arises I like to venture out from my home to far-off, mysterious places.

I'm new to Couchsurfing, though the concept and website are well known to me. However the idea of sharing some time with other travellers, either in their home or mine, seems to me one of the most natural and enjoyable ways to bond and make friends with people of a similar mindset. I look forward to meeting and hopefully bonding with you!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Wild-camping in a hurricane on the Isles of Scilly then waking up to beautiful blue skies and going swimming in the icy sea was pretty fantastic. I also had my mind fairly blown participating in the Climate March, Paris, Dec. 2015.

I'm always looking to learn new bits of languages, tasty food recipes and interesting or useful skills, and am equally happy to pass on what I've picked up! As I mentioned, I love to play guitar and sing, especially jamming with other people. I know many cool and potentially life-saving knots. I reckon I can whip up some kind of at least passable meal out of mostly any ingredients.
