Since you are probably still wondering:
I think I'm pretty easy to get along with, trying to stay open minded, even more trying to always make a joke (even if it's stupid;)).

I love understanding and learn new things. There are some subjects I really enjoy, e.g. philosophy, mathematics, history and astronomy .(Actually I own a pretty big telescope, but the night sky in Berlin is nearly not dark enough:()

Tolerance of other people is pretty important to me. Actually I think there is nothing more unsexy than judging people, without trying to understand them first.

Animal rights are also significant to me. Meaning, I am a vegan. I have no interest to convince you or to tell you how wrong you are. Should you stay at my place you can eat whatever you want, but should you be interested in a nice conversation about this topic, I'm more than happy to share my ideas with you.

Also I should add, that I'm sometimes very, very, VERY lazy.

You can visit another country, city of whatever, take some nice pictures of the sights, eat a local meal and go home. Have you learned anything real about that place, did you have any connection with the culture or the people. I don't think so.

The best way to experience foreign places is through the people who live there.
It's not just, that they know more about that place, than any tourist guide. They ARE that place.
Actually, it's not THEY, it's probably YOU, as you are one of those persons who found their way to my profile. Whether you're looking for a host or I asked you to host me, you are probably part of such a place and, what's even more important, I probably never meet you or visited your place.

兴趣

So music is really important to me. I would guess, that I listen at least for 3 hours a day to music. There are a lot of genres I like; the most important ones being metal/punk, jazz and right now also hip-hop. Most of the time, I listen to "classics" of those genres, so I'm kind of unfamiliar with a lot of "modern" music.
Also I really like going to music festivals. "Vacation from civilization" I sometimes call them, because a lot of social norms aren't that important there.

I nearly never miss a game of my favourite football (soccer for you americans/aussies) SV Babelsberg 03. They play in one of the 4.Divisions in germany. People are left-winged and open-minded, we sing and have fun and try to make the sometimes very grey and hostile world of football a little bit more colorful.

For years I nearly never left Berlin. In retrospective that's sad, but that's the past. There are so many places I have never seen and most of them I probably will never see, BUT isn't that the fun part of life? I see it as a challenge to try at least and visit as much places as I can, since time is always flying by, right;)

Last, but not least: I really like to talk to people, get to know them and just share ideas and experiences (maybe while drinking a nice beer). Most of you guys have a different perspective and I would be stupid to believe, mine is always the best.
