About Me

Open, friendly, i like to meet people, i love animals, nature, music, life in general, i'm rather quiet, totally non-violent, try to be funny, "always look on the bright side of life...", i've got qualities and defects or drawbacks like everybody (messy, a bit lazy, that sort). It's hard to write about oneself, you'll have to find out by yourself. I'm a smoker, i don't drink too much, i love to cook, and share. And dance. I live in a small Catalan mountain village of 25 inhabitants (alt.900 meters).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My life is at a turn, my wife passed away 18 months ago after three years of fight against skin cancer. I have no children, three dogs and cats around, i have friends and get support from the local community, but i feel that it'll do me a world of good to have somebody here, and show him/her how life's cool here. That'll take me back to my young years as a student in Nottingham, Britain.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i saved a 5 year-old boy in a Parisian subway station doing the Heimlich technique. i must have been 17 at the time, i still remember him, his dad, a south-American tourist, who was at a loss as his child was choking, signed and prayed when it was all over. The boy had a sweet stuck in his throat. This boy is the one and only person i saved so far.
